1st place: the ship of Pharaoh

Egyptologist Jan Tristant of the University of Sydney studied the response francuzskoy archaeological expedition of Professor Pierre Monte, who in 1914 examined the tombs of the pharaohs near the town of Abu Ravache. Impossible fossils

Scientists believe that most layers of sedimentary rocks on the Earth’s surface were deposited slowly over millions of years. Most of these layers contain fossilized remains of plants and animals. But there are concerns.

On Earth there are many examples of fossils vertically pass through numerous layers of sedimentary rocks — from here and they got their name “polystrate fossils” (from poly — many, strata — layers).

For example, in coal mine Joggins (NS, Canada) you can find lots of vertically spaced trees raschitany in layers with a total thickness of 750 meters. These petrified trees can be easily seen.

Perfectly preserved, they pervade the strata, which supposedly were deposited over millions of years. The fact that the trees had to be buried faster than they would have rotted. In other words, these layers never could be deposited slowly over millions of years.

The trees would have decomposed long before this, and thus not rigid. Derek ager, Emeritus Professor of Geology at University College in Swansea, received their education in the spirit of strict Lilleskog uniformitarism, describes these fossils as follows: “the Total thickness of the British coal layers is about 1000 m, and assuming that they have been deposited over 10 million years, and when osloveien formation of sedimentary rock, then the disposal of the tree height of 10 m took place over 100,000 years, what really is ridiculous”.
