During excavations in China archaeologists have discovered objects of gold and jade

Chinese archaeologists, who conducted excavations in the area of known archaeological site of Sanxingdui, located in the southwest of China, Sichuan province, were found numerous gold and jade jewelry, according to news Agency Xinhua.

The archaeological site of Sanxingdui is a place of careful work of archaeologists has been for at least three decades, but the finding of similar values are able to detect extremely rare — the last one of gold was found here in 1990-ies.

“The product was found, the approximate age of 3 thousand years, indicate the high social status living here once people. Gold and jade attest to the prosperity of the settlements here,” says lei Yu, an archeologist from Sichuan Institute.

Yu adds that the portions of the ancient walls, was found here earlier, could apply to two small towns.
